Dans leur portfolio et livre O.i.F., les artistes de Düsseldorf Katja Stuke et Oliver Sieber ont photographié les lieux de tournage des films les plus mythiques d'Hollywood. Certains sont indéfinissables, d'autres évoquent de nombreux souvenirs. A cette collection, ils ont ajouté des images d'endroits qui stimulent directement la conscience collective cinématographique. En jouant d'attentes et d'associations, Katja Stuke et Oliver Sieber agissent comme des défricheurs d'histoire, d'innovation et d'imagination.

Once the last shot has been canned and the wrap-up party has wound down, most film sets quickly degenerate into dilapidated backdrops. In their portfolio and book “O.i.F.” the Düsseldorf-based artists Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber have captured the original locations of legendary Hollywood movies in a series of photographs. Some former sets are non-descript, others simmer with memories. To this collection the artists added images of locations that directly stimulate the cinematic collective consciousness. Playing with expectations and associations Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber act as a location scout to history, innovation and the imagination.
