Once the last shot has been canned and the wrap-up party has wound down, most film sets quickly degenerate into dilapidated backdrops. In their portfolio and book “O.i.F.” the Düsseldorf-based artists Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber have captured the original locations of legendary Hollywood movies in a series of photographs. Some former sets are non-descript, others simmer with memories. To this collection the artists added images of locations that directly stimulate the cinematic collective consciousness.
