Le projet Paperclips regroupe une collection de trombones tordus et photographiés. Cet objet, omniprésent dans nos environnements bureaucratiques, que nous avons tous malmené par ennui ou par anxiété, devient la matière première d’un travail qui explore l’espace entre contrainte, processus et résultat. Sans se soucier ni d’une quête formelle ni d’une finalité utilitaire, ce travail embrasse plutôt l’errance du geste comme une pratique méditative, ou l’image devient le prétexte de l’action.

Paperclips is a collection of bent and photographed paperclips. This cultural artifact, seemingly trivial and often twisted out of boredom or anxiety becomes raw material for a work exploring the space between constraint, process, and outcome. Rather than aiming for form or utility, it embraces gesture as meditative practice and reflects on sculpture and photography.
